We are seeking experienced and motivated Technical Consultants who will help support our customer base. 

Responsibilities

We are constantly looking for engineers or scientists with strong project management, communication and technical writing skills. We seek specialists from various technical disciplines to join our talented team as one of our Technical Consultants. Our Technical Consultants are responsible for technical report writing and technical costing in support of SR&ED claims, developing funding applications for other government and private grants on behalf of our clients, and providing technical report writing services. Individuals must be self starting and must consistently meet commitments. Part time or full time opportunities are available for qualified applicants.

 Requirements

Candidates must have the following qualifications to be considered for this position:

• University technical degree (Bachelor of Engineering or Science, Masters, or PhD)
• Project Management skills (PMP designation is an asset but not required)
• Demonstrated technical writing skills
• Facilitative communication skills, exceptional oral and written communications capabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably with client personnel of all levels
• Willingness to assume significant responsibility, ownership and accountability
• Willingness to develop an in-depth understanding of the basic taxation aspects of SR&ED tax credit claims and the basis behind other government and private incentive programs (training will be provided); previous SR&ED experience is strongly desired
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial concepts is an asset
